Shop opening hours

 

During the year, except for festivities, shops are opened at the following hours:  

Offices: Mondays to Fridays: 08:30am – 13:00pm and 14:00/15:00pm – 18:00pm
Banks: Mondays – Fridays: 08:30am – 13:30pm and 14:45pm – 16.15pm
Stores: Mondays to Saturdays: 09:00am – 13:00pm and 16:30pm – 19:30pm. Most shops are opening no stop until to 20:00 pm, especially the shop that are collocated in the centre of the city.

January-1 New Year’s Day, 6 Epiphany

March/April: Easter

April  -25Liberation day

May -1 Labour day

June-2 Republic Day

August-15 Assumption Day

November-1 All Saint’s Day

December-8 Immaculate Conception, 25 Christmas day, 26 St.Stephen’s day

Business hours in Italy: depends on the nature of the enterprise and the location of these in italy. There is some variation in opening times between the north and south of Italy: generally things in the south of Italy tend to stay open until later in the evening.

Pharmacy business hours in Italy: pharmacies usually open their doors at 9:00am to 12:30pm and from 3:30pm until 7:30pm.  During the weekend there are some duty pharmacies.
